"Mountain of the Witch"
"Sliabh na Caillighe", or the "Mountain of the Witch" is the second largest (after Carrowmore in County Sligo) megalithic cemetery in Ireland. I took these pics just before sunset tonight.
The Loughcrew Cairns, also known as the Hills of the Witch, are a group of Neolithic passage tombs dating to 3000BC. The tombs are located on three different hills and Cairn T, one of the largest tombs in the complex, is situated on Carnbane East. This tomb has inside a cruciform chamber, a corbelled roof and some of the most beautiful examples of Neolithic art in Ireland.
Was beautiful to be there as the sun set and the night blanketed the mountains. Was a great sense of peace in this most ancient of places.

Avebury Stone Circle
Was fortunate enough to be taken to one of the largest prehistoric henges in Britain a couple of days ago on the eve of the full moon (thanks Craig!). Avebury stone circle is over 4000 years old and is a designated world heritage site and forms one of the most complex prehistoric complexes in Europe. With long barrows, burial mounds and of course lots of massive stones!
Unfortunately alot of it has been destroyed by building and farming in the area and even now the main road passes right thru the circle and the little town is located in the centre.
Even though, the importance and power of such a huge scale of a place can still be felt and some of the stones have been restored to their former glory.
A very yummy day.

Edinburgh Fringe Festival
Here are some pics from my recent visit to Edinburgh Scotland where i performed as part of the Edinburgh Fringe Vaudeville Cabaret Club.

Was really happy with the show response and it was a great opportunity to put some new routines together.

Had a bit of a sponge bath on stage (discreetly of course) then dried off and got 'dressed' for the show

Managed to see some other great acts from all over the world also.

The Circus Space London
So, am here in London again. Been training at the circus space the past couple of days. Is possibly the best circus training space I have seen. Good height, good facilities, loads of space! am impressed! Went there a month or so ago when I was here but was in a bit of a rush. Had a good session though yesterday, got some fresh burns and worked up a good sweat.

Training at Belfast Community Circus
So, just returned from Northern Ireland on a special trip to visit Belfast Community Circus. Had a few days of hardcore training and worked up a good sweat! Got some fresh fabric burns and practiced some cool new tricks and old tricks I havent done in a while.
So, yeah, I like Belfast and will probably head back there soon as there is nowhere to train in Dublin.

Here is me doing a cool drop...
