Circus @ Bournemouth Opera House

On boxing Day i was invited to perform at Bournemouth Opera House for a night called Circus. It an amazingly beautiful venue with some great history! I did 2 shows there, one on the hoop and one on the silk.

]
The Opera House located in the Boscombe district of Bournemouth, is now one of Bournemouth’s most successful and largest nightclubs. It has a long history dating back to it’s opening on 17th May 1895, and was used as a circus/theatre.

In the late 1960’s the building was reincarnated as a music venue and saw acts such as Pink Floyd, Status Quo, Led Zeppelin, Thin Lizzy, Hawkwind and David Bowie. In the 1980’s saw the revolution of the discothèque and the Academy Nightclub was born with a multi million pound refurbishment.

The Cobden Club London

Last night I was invited to perform at the Cobden Club for a themed party " The Beautiful and the Damned".

Was a fun night with some nice people there. It was the end of year party for beau production.

I had been tattooed that afternoon so was feeling very tender but soldiered on!

Here are some pics from my show.

Performance at Koko London

Tonight I was invited to perform at the historic Koko London. KOKO began life as The Camden Theatre and was opened on Boxing Day 1900 by the famous actress Ellen Terry, with a seating capacity of 1600.

In 1909 the theatre was renamed The Camden Hippodrome and was a variety theatre where famous names such as Charlie Chaplin appeared. It has also hosted the earliest gigs of the Eurythmics and the first UK performance by a rising star known as Madonna!

And now me!!!

I had a great time in Athens and explored the old temples and ruins while I was there. It was my first time in Greece also, and I hope to be going back in the summer to do more work on a Greek island somewhere!!
