Weekend Performances

Here are a few pics from the show at the Brickhouse restaurant on the weekend. I also performed for the opening of a fashion parade in Heaven London which was fun. Am still waiting for pics and footage from that, but it apparently looked cool!

A Rock'n'Roll Circus Show

Here is the new teaser for Cirkus Khaoom, a contemporary circus group I have been a memeber of for a few years. This was the show we did in the summer. Enjoy!

When the leaves fall like rain,
and cover the earth in gold
And the breeze becomes cooler,
to welcome the coming cold
When dreams become more than a dream,
and life is not what it seems.
And I hear thunder in the silence of those golden leaves.

When I awaken in the morning,
blanketed by the night.
I share this world of turnings,
with the gods of my might.
And taste the truth of being,
born of spiritual seed.
And the word of the great goddess I heed.

For it is she that can set me free

Show Friday night

Performed my new show on friday night to an appreciative crowd at the Brickhouse Restaurant on Bricklane in London.

The venue really is perfect for aerial shows!

The show is themed on Arabian nights, and I`m like a Persian Prince who climbs the silk. The music is kind of hypnotic and really sets the scene.

Last night I was invited to perform at The Brickhouse, London`s newest fine dining restaurant "with a twist".

The restaurant is set over 3 levels which is perfect for aerial shows.

I performed on aerial silk using the whole 8 or so meters, in a relaxed atmosphere set by the mood of the DJ, which was really well received by the crowd. The lighting was great and I will be back in the near future to do more.

Amazing Ari performs at Circus - London

Here is some footage from last nights aerial ring show at Soho Revue Bars regular friday night event - Circus. It was also filmed by channel 4 in London which would be cool to see. This is from my little camera though.

I must say that doing this show was loads of fun and I love the track I performed to and have wanted to do it for a while. The crowd were really responsive and I had loads of great feedback.

Was another fun night there and successful show!

My arms are completely burned from the elbow rolls on the taped ring, but it was worth it!

Will post some pics when i get them.

Insight

'Three things from which never to be moved: one's Oaths, one's Gods, and the Truth.
The three highest causes of the true human are: Truth, Honor, and Duty.Three candles that illuminate every darkness: Truth, Nature, and Knowledge.
- Traditional Celtic Triads'

ANCESTRY (LIFE, THE UNIVERSE AND EVERYTHING)- Ly de Angeles

If you take such theories as the big bang into account (and it's as viable theory as anything else if you feel the necessity to consider anything as having a beginning) then 'we' must, logically, have been there, in the ancestral sense, as nothing comes from nothing (duh!), even if it is (in difference to was - I'm sure you'll work with me here!) merely as the possibility of energy as we consider energy to be. The same applies if you throw away the entire illusion of a beginning and consider the concept of a continuum and consider that possibly we don't know everything [consciously].

We're the off-spring of that immortality. We may be sun and moon and sea and stone and person and rat and mountain lion and retro-virus and all but we're still bloody-well related! And everything is unique but relative to everything else ("divided for love's sake on the chance of union").

Our ancestors (even into the far-flung memory of a trillion billion light years from now, into both 'past' and 'future') are the gods. They're not myth and legend and religion but they can be represented within them, just as simply as one or other might have passed you on the street today.

If that sounds irreverent to anyone reading this then you'd be mistaken. In the truest sense of the word - it is awesome!

Circus - Soho Revue Bar London

Thought I would post a pic up from my show a couple of weeks ago at circus. Was a great night and I must say, Circus is one of my favourite places in London. The music is hot and diverse, pretty much like the crowd. People make a bit of an effort to dress up and be creative which always helps an atmosphere.

Am performing there again on 2nd Nov.

nameless

O perfect moon
Shine over the silver cloud
At the gate
Where time is lost and found
In the rain
And on the rays of the golden sun
We are here
As Angels born from one
Now I see
All the things we truly are
Way back when
We exploded from that star
Now we move
On a tail of comet light
And we dance
As Gods who have the sight
On the Earth
Around the sacred forever tree
Within the sound
Of all that shall ever be
Yes, we are here
To live our time of dreams
Now I see
All that life means to me

O perfect Sun
Ablaze with flames of might
Ripe the seed
Keep it warmed throughout the night
In the circle
At the gates outside of time
I am here
Your reflection I seek to find
And we share
Each breath upon the Earth
To be born
From death to living birth
We can feel
Your touch upon the breeze
And we sing
Your praise that shall appease
So now begin
The dance of the golden Sun
In perfect Love
We honour the Shining Ones

Autumn Equinox

Remember me

I am a thing of fur and horn and hoof, of scent and wild and free.

I am a thing of man and magic and blood sap from a tree.

I am a thing of water and soil, emerging as seasons from the sea.

I am a thing of sex and secrets, and dreams that share the seed.

I am the cards and the shuffle.

I am the tears and the laughter.

All things of beauty are my joy.

See me

Hear me

Feel me

Know me

Love me.

So mote it be.

"Mountain of the Witch"

"Sliabh na Caillighe", or the "Mountain of the Witch" is the second largest (after Carrowmore in County Sligo) megalithic cemetery in Ireland. I took these pics just before sunset tonight.

The Loughcrew Cairns, also known as the Hills of the Witch, are a group of Neolithic passage tombs dating to 3000BC. The tombs are located on three different hills and Cairn T, one of the largest tombs in the complex, is situated on Carnbane East. This tomb has inside a cruciform chamber, a corbelled roof and some of the most beautiful examples of Neolithic art in Ireland.

Was beautiful to be there as the sun set and the night blanketed the mountains. Was a great sense of peace in this most ancient of places.

Avebury Stone Circle

Was fortunate enough to be taken to one of the largest prehistoric henges in Britain a couple of days ago on the eve of the full moon (thanks Craig!). Avebury stone circle is over 4000 years old and is a designated world heritage site and forms one of the most complex prehistoric complexes in Europe. With long barrows, burial mounds and of course lots of massive stones!

Unfortunately alot of it has been destroyed by building and farming in the area and even now the main road passes right thru the circle and the little town is located in the centre.

Even though, the importance and power of such a huge scale of a place can still be felt and some of the stones have been restored to their former glory.

A very yummy day.
